http://www.archaeology.org/9907/etc/mask.html

This is a website for the publication of The Archaeological institute of America. It has detailed articled on the mask of Agamemnon. The articles on this site discussed the controversies over the mask and controversies with Schliemann. It was factual and informative and also very credible.

http://mycenae-excavations.org/about.html

This sight gave a lot of insight into several other excavations in Mycenae. This site is very detailed and full of information and even media on this subject. It was very helpful in creating my site and gathering information.

http://www.ime.gr/chronos/02/mainland/en/mg/society/burials/index.html

This website is where I received quite a bit of information on the shaft graves themselves. It discussed the types of graves the Mycenae used and was extremely detailed. The whole section on burial customs was helpful, as well as the section on religion, as religion plays a huge role in burial customs.

http://www.greeka.com/peloponnese/mycenae/mycenae/mycenae-agamemnon-mask.htm

This site was also very informative on Mycenae and different customs. Its main focus was the Mask of Agamemnon. It was also very helpful in the way it discussed who Agamemnon was thought to be.

http://www.age-of-the-sage.org/archaeology/heinrich_schliemann.html

This website was one of the most helpful. Instead of focusing on just the Mask of Agamemnon, or just the graves of Mycenae, it focused mainly on Schliemann. This gave insight into who he was thought to be and all the controversies about him. It did discuss his excavations of course, but it was helpful to gain more information on just him, the archaeologist.

http://www.greek-thesaurus.gr/Mycenaean-Grave-Circle-A.html

This website gave great detail on the Grave Circle A where the excavation with the Mask of Agamemnon took place. This was another huge part for my website, since it focused quite a bit of attention on the grave circle itself. It has other helpful information on other aspects as well.

http://projectsx.dartmouth.edu/history/bronze_age/lessons/les/16.html

This site was also enormously helpful in giving information on the shaft graves. It was created for a class and from my understanding is an actual lesson, which makes it all the more helpful in understand what shaft graves are.

http://www.pantheon.org/articles/a/agamemnon.html

The information in this site was minute, but was helpful. The site discusses Agamemnon. It does not go into detail on the burial, or the mask, but is solely about the ruler.

http://languages.siuc.edu/classics/Johnson/Greeks/BArt/Agmask.html

The title at the top of this site “The so-called Mask of Agamemnon” is alone intriguing. There is so much controversy as to whether the mask that was found by Schliemann was actually that of Agamemnon. This site questions the authenticity of the mask.
